KATE BROWN HIT WITH ETHICS VIOLATION CHARGES BY OREGON REPUBLICAN PARTY
(Is Kate Brown following in disgraced Kitzhaber's Corrupt Footsteps?)
Wilsonville, OR – Today the Oregon Republican Party (ORP) filed a complaint with the Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC) over Governor Kate Brown’s use of public funds for campaign purposes. In addition, the complaint asks for the commission to review Kate Brown’s solicitation of contributions from government contractors and possible influence peddling.
Recent reports featured in Forbes Magazine and allegations made by her former campaign manager in a video published by Project Veritas Action claim that the governor violated ethics laws by using public funds for campaign purposes.
“These reports show a clear pattern of unethical behavior and misuse of public funds. This is particularly concerning since her predecessor resigned under an ethical cloud of similar allegations,” said Oregon Republican Party Chair Bill Currier. “Voters deserve a full investigation and to know the truth prior to the November election.”
